When situations arise where extremely large volumes of data must be processed with a
need for a quick turn around, Contextual is able to utilize the latest application technology
to accelerate the translation process and keep review cost low. Contextual can work with
hard-copy documents by creating digital documents from the source text using our Optical
Character Recognition (OCR) application.

Working with client’s specific needs, the resulting target language documents are then
reviewed and scanned for certain key terms. Contextual’s TEP process —translation,
editing, and proofreading—is applied to the extracted text to ensure external quality
translation while at the same time reducing the timeframe and lowering overall cost.
